Our Story

Critters was born from a deeply touching experience that opened our eyes to the unconditional love between pets and their owners. One day, while visiting a veterinary hospital, we encountered an elderly woman, over 60, carrying her beloved dog in her arms after its surgery. The woman shared her story with us, and it left a lasting impact.

She had lived a peaceful life with her daughter and the dog her daughter had raised. After her daughter's marriage, the dog became her constant companion, and they formed an inseparable bond. Over the years, the dog became her source of comfort and love.

One day, the dog fell ill and needed surgery, but the woman couldn’t afford the cost. Despite this, her love and dedication led her to plead with the dean of the hospital, who allowed the surgery to proceed. In that moment, we witnessed a love so pure and selfless, it inspired us to take action.

That day, Critters was born with a mission: to help people find their own companions to love, just as that old lady had. Because love doesn’t know the breed, it simply exists—pure and unconditional.

We hope to connect people with pets who will fill their lives with the same joy, companionship, and love that we saw between that woman and her dog.
